Project Overview
The goal of this project is to develop and execute a paid social media campaign for Brown’s Bedding and More, an online bedding and home goods store, in order to promote the company’s recent website upgrades and drive more traffic to the website by offering a 20% off discount on all online orders.
Project Execution and Results
As a digital marketer for Brown’s Bedding and More, my role in this project was to develop and execute a paid social media campaign that effectively promotes the company’s recent website upgrades and the 20% off discount offer. To achieve this goal, I followed a step-by-step process that included:
- Defining the campaign’s objective: The objective of the campaign was to drive traffic to the company’s website.
- Describing the target audience: The target audience for the campaign was based on a customer persona that included demographic information such as gender, age range, and location as well as important information such as keywords, education, and interests.

Selecting a social media platform: The social media platform that was chosen for the campaign was Facebook, as it is ideal for driving website traffic.
Selecting an ad format: The ad format that was chosen for the campaign was a static image, as it can help the audience visualize using the product and include a call to action button.
Planning the creatives: The creatives for the ad included visual assets and text that addressed the audience’s demographics, goal, and barriers.
Developing a call to action: The call to action for the campaign was clear, used action words, and was brief, with no more than five to seven words.
Throughout the project, I used the information and data gathered from customer persona and social media platform to develop and execute the campaign. I also analyzed the data from the campaign to determine its success and make recommendations for future campaigns.
