Project Overview
In this project, we were tasked with creating a responsive search ad for Oscar’s Bakery, a vegan, organic and gluten-free bakery that had just launched an online ordering feature. We aimed to promote this new feature by offering free delivery and 15% off on all online orders.
Project Execution and Results
To create the ad, we first organized the ad’s details in a spreadsheet. To improve the ad’s performance, we crafted multiple headlines and descriptions that were relevant to the bakery’s keywords to match potential customers’ search queries. We also wrote ad extensions to provide additional important information.
We wrote 10 headlines for the ad, following best practices such as focusing on the needs and benefits of the customers, including relevant keywords, highlighting benefits and features of the business, using specific and relevant calls-to-action, and making each headline unique.
For the ad’s descriptions, we wrote 5 descriptions following best practices such as focusing on user benefits, including relevant keywords, and adding specific calls-to-action. Additionally, we highlighted additional information about the bakery that wasn’t mentioned in the headlines.
Lastly, we wrote callout extensions to provide additional information such as the availability of organic and vegan options, free delivery, the bakery’s opening hours, awards, custom cakes and discounts on online orders.
Overall, we followed a structured approach to create the ad, ensuring that we followed best practices and provided relevant information that would help in attracting more customers to the website and increase the sales of the company.
