Project Overview

The project goal for this social media campaign for Great Grounds was to increase engagement on Twitter through two tweets related to daylight savings time, and to craft an email report to share the analysis and recommendations with senior stakeholders. The campaign aimed to utilize data analysis to determine the most effective strategies for increasing engagement such as using funny images, text and relevant hashtags. The data collected from the campaign was analyzed and used to inform future social media strategy for Great Grounds in order to continue to increase engagement and reach more customers. The goal was to use the email report to present data in a clear, concise and easy-to-understand manner, providing valuable insights and helping the business achieve its goals.

Project Execution and Results

The first step in the project was to export data from the social media platform, review the metrics and compare the data between the two tweets to determine which performed better. You can find this steps details in my previous project called “Social media data analysis”. This was done by analyzing the content and other details of the tweets, such as the text, assets, hashtags, and time of day they were posted. These observations were used to identify any patterns or differences that may have contributed to their performance.

Based on the findings, changes were recommended to Great Grounds’ social media strategy. These recommendations included creating more engaging and personalized content that provides a clear call to action, posting at the right time to reach the target audience, and using relevant hashtags to increase discoverability and engagement.

As part of the analysis, we also created charts and visualizations to better understand the data and to present it in a clear, concise and easy-to-understand manner for the stakeholders.

The final step of the project was to craft an email report to share the analysis and recommendations with senior stakeholders. This report was designed to present data in a clear, concise and easy-to-understand manner, providing valuable insights and helping the business achieve its goals.

The email report will include an overview of the campaign’s goals, key findings based on the data analysis, and recommendations for future social media strategy. Overall, this project aimed to demonstrate the importance of crafting effective social media reports and how it can help businesses make informed decisions based on data analysis.
